The Junior League of Tallahassee is pleased to announce the dates for the Junior League of Tallahassee’s Jingle Jubilee shopping extravaganza November 18 - 20, 2010, at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center in downtown Tallahassee, Florida.

Over the past two years, we have hosted local merchants with a smaller, boutique feel. Due to consumer demand, we are planning a larger holiday shopping extravaganza featuring merchants from around the country. As a result, we are exponentially expanding our marketing efforts to provide the best holiday shopping experience in north Florida and south Georgia.

To ensure the highest quality and diversity of products, we will be selecting applicants from across the country to fill 130 booth spaces. Applicants will be chosen by merchant seniority, category and quality of merchandise and timeliness in returning proper information. All merchant applicants will be notified of their status by April 30, 2010. If selected, you will receive a packet of information containing a contract and other important information. If we are unable to accommodate you, your deposit will be fully refunded.

For those of you not familiar with Tallahassee, it is located in the big bend of Florida with approximately 150,000 permanent residents and was recently selected by U.S. News & World Report as being one of the top 10 cities to find a job during our country’s economic recession. Much of this is attributed to being the capital of Florida; more than 30% of the jobs are in the public sector.

Tallahassee is a diverse community that exudes southern charm and hospitality. It is home to Florida State University (41,000 students), Florida A&M University (12,600 students), and Tallahassee Community College (10,000 students). Although known as a “football” and outdoor community, statistics from Visit Tallahassee, the area’s official destination marketing entity, show that the #1 activity visitors and residents enjoy is shopping.

To participate in the 2010 Jingle Jubilee, please complete the enclosed application and return it with your $100 non-refundable deposit no later than March 31, 2010. Please be sure to get your application in as quickly as possible as we are already filling space.
